For those who wish to join the club

Thank you for your interest in the Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology Soccer Club!

We are always looking for people to join or try out the club (observations are also possible). Please check the schedule for practice days and apply via DM on our official SNS or the Google form below.

If you are interested in joining, please come for a trial session first.

~Basic information

Q. How many days a week are there for practice?

A. Four days a week on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

   Practice times are Wednesday and Friday from 5:30pm to 7:30pm (with night lights) and Saturday and Sunday from 9:30am to 11:30am.

   On weekends, we often have league games, tournaments, and practice matches.

 

Q. Where is the practice location?

A. We practice at the Fuchu Campus (Faculty of Agriculture). Please see Access for details.

 

Q. What do I need to bring?

A. For the trial, please bring three items: athletic shoes, soccer clothes, and a change of clothes.

 We will provide a ball and water. (You may also bring your own water.)

 Soccer spikes and shin pads are also required after joining the club.

 

Q. How much are the club fees?

A. There is no initial fee, and the monthly fee is 3,000 yen. The money is used to cover JFA player registration fees, administrative costs, and equipment costs. There is a separate participation fee for training camps.

Q. Can I join the club even if I am not a new student?

A. You do not have to be a new student to join the club. In past years, some members have joined the club around the summer break as well as during the spring welcome period.

 Also, although most players basically retire in their third year, they can continue in their fourth year.

 Some of them even join the club after their senior year.

Q. I want to join the club as a staff member (manager), not as a player.

A. You are more than welcome. We are always looking for people who can be involved in various aspects of the Agricultural and Technical University Soccer Club, such as managers, coaches, data analysis, public relations, engineering, and so on.

Q. Can I balance my studies and part-time job?

A. Yes, it is possible. Even though club activities are held 4 days a week, it is only about 2 hours a day, so many people say that it is not that much of a burden. Almost all of the club members play bytes.

Q. You practice at the Faculty of Agriculture, but are there also students from the Faculty of Engineering?

A. Yes. In fact, more than half of the club members are engineering students. It takes about 20 minutes by bicycle from the Faculty of Engineering to the Faculty of Agriculture.

Q. I am not a student at another university / college, but can I join the club? 

A. Unfortunately, as a player, you cannot participate in official matches under the jurisdiction of the JFA (Japan Football Association) due to regulations. Participation in practice is possible.

   Staff members are welcome, even if they are students from other universities!
